Jennifer Lopez always knows how to bring the glamour. The musician, actor and JLo Beauty founder may have said “Love don’t cost a thing,” but that doesn’t necessarily apply to her manicures.
Lopez’s latest nail look is the definition of subtle opulence, just in time to usher in 2023. Her manicurist, Tom Bachik, shared a pic of J. Lo’s current mani and wait … are those diamonds in her nails? Lopez’s nails are shaped into a classic almond with a longer length and painted a pearly neutral that blends in with her natural nail bed color and adds extra shine. The tips are painted a pale platinum pewter color, almost indistinguishable from the base color, and sparkling on each tip is a glam gemstone. (They’re probably rhinestones or crafting gems, but hey, we can dream!) It’s hard to tell if the gems are applied atop the nail or embedded into it, but either way, it’s a gorgeous twist on the invisible French manicure trend with that signature J. Lo glitz. We can easily see this paired with a dramatic gown for New Year’s Eve or a formal occasion, but it’s simple enough that it could also work beautifully with a T-shirt and jeans … or a classic velour tracksuit.
